This notice describes how About Tijuana handles information on abouttijuana.com. For privacy questions, contact info@abouttijuana.com.

Contact requests and submissions

When you email us or use a contact, submission, or correction form, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, message, links, and business, event, or offer information. We use those details to respond to your request and review the information you submit. Contact information and messages can identify you.

The website uses Contact Form 7 for existing contact requests. The guide’s contact, submission, and report forms also store records privately within the website for administrator review. Pending submissions are private. Business, event, and offer facts are published only after approval; submitter email addresses and IP addresses are not included in public listings.

Sending a request does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Avoid sending payment details, identity documents, or sensitive personal information.

Spam protection

The website has a Google reCAPTCHA v3 integration through Contact Form 7. Its scripts can load on pages beyond the contact form to assess automated abuse. Google can process browser and network information for this check. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Analytics, search performance, and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand visits and Google Search Console to understand search performance, connected through Google Site Kit. Analytics can process cookie identifiers, device or browser information, and activity on the site. The data collected depends on the settings in use. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data information.

You can control cookies through your browser. Where the site provides a consent choice, use it to manage the services described there.

Other websites

Business websites, booking services, and other sites linked from this guide handle information under their own policies. Review their notices before submitting information.

Questions and requests

Email info@abouttijuana.com to ask about your information or request a correction or removal. Include enough information to identify the request without sending unnecessary sensitive details.

Accommodation and referral links

The stays section links to providers such as Tripadvisor, KAYAK and Expedia. After you follow a link, the provider handles your search, reservation, payment and cancellation under its own policies. About Tijuana does not collect booking payments in this section.

If an approved referral link is active, the provider or affiliate network may use tracking parameters and cookies to attribute the referral under its own policy. Earning links show a commission disclosure. This section uses outbound links and adds no embedded booking-provider scripts; the site analytics and spam protection described above still apply.
